ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) is a knowledge and Resource Center of Indian council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). This aids devopping and dessimination of location specific technologies at district level.
Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Gonikoppal is the first ICAR KVK in Karnataka was established on 16th December 1976 under Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR), Bengaluru in Kodagu District. Initially it was functioning at Chettalli, under Central Horticultural Experimental Station (CHES).
