On August 1, 2024, a delegation of 25 representatives from the Indonesian Coffee Board visited ICAR-KVK Gonikoppal. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Prabhakara, the Head Incharge of KVK, who provided an overview of the center’s ongoing activities and highlighted its most promising integrated technologies. The session focused on sustainable agroforestry practices specifically tailored for coffee-growing regions. Dr. Sridevi, DDE Gonikoppal, Dr. Chandrashekar, DDE Madikeri, and other KVK scientists played a significant role in the event, engaging deeply with the visitors and discussing various aspects of coffee cultivation and agroforestry.

The program included a tour of the KVK Farm's coffee demonstration blocks and a visit to the KVK-supported FPO PUTHARI. This tour offered the delegates a practical understanding of the integrated technologies and sustainable practices implemented at the centre.
