Azolla Unit

In KVK farm we are maintaining an azolla unit with the intention of reducing concentrate feed to the animals like cows, goats, poultry and pigs. The azolla produced being a fern type feed it has more of nitrogen content hence this can be fed directly after washing to the animals at the rate of 0.5 to 1 kg per animal per day thereby reducing the quantity of concentrate to be given to the animal.
