ICAR-KVK Gonikoppal, Kodagu in collaboration with ATMA Virajpet celebrated the World soil day on 22nd March 2021. The programme begun with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest. The Theme of the programme was Valuing Water. KVK Head, emphasized on the high usage of water in Agriculture and the need to conserve the same by making optimized use of water resources. A video on “Water is life” was also played during the programme.

Around 65 farmers attended the programme. Officials from the ADA Vigilance department, Virajpet & Madikeri and Zonal managers of RCF Hassan, Kodagu district were also present during the programme.
