ICAR-KVK Kodagu in collaboration with ICAR-CHES Chettalli organised a field day and Scientist Farmers interaction on vegetable crop at CHES, Chettalli on 19th February 2021. Around 300 farmers attended the event. The programme was inaugurated by Director IIHR, Bengaluru. Farmers were shown various vegetable demonstration units at CHES like tomato, pumpkin, bottle gourd, chilies, etc.

During the programme a folder on kitchen gardening was released. After the inaugural programme there was a technical programme where the farmers were able to ask their queries with the experts of KVK and CHES. The whole programme was coordinated by Dr. Saju George, Principal Scientist & Head, KVK Kodagu.
