ICAR-KVK Gonikoppal celebrated Mahila Kisan Diwas on 15th October 2020 at KVK Gonikoppal campus. On this occasion Smt. Rashmi Bhanuprasad an mushroom entrepreneur, spoke about her experience as a mushroom grower and demonstrated various mushroom processing methods like dried mushroom, mushroom powder, mushroom chips, etc.

Mr. Devaiah, SMS (Horticulture) spoke about the various opportunities for farm women in the society and motivated them to take up Nursery and Mushroom cultivation. At the end of the event Smt. Rashmi was honoured with the successful Agri-entrepreneur (Mushroom cultivation). Around 21 women participated in the programme.
