ICAR-KVK Gonikoppal conducted a webinar on Oyster mushroom cultivation in Kodagu District on 14th August 2020 using the Zoom platform. Dr. Somashekhar, SMS (Plant breeding) spoke about the mushroom cultivation techniques and the important health benefits of mushroom consumption. He also spoke about precaution to be taken during mushroom production.

Around 60 farmers participated in the programme. This was also the last training of Dr. Somashekhar at KVK Kodagu, who is now is transferred Thumkur KVK. His contribution towards KVK and Kodagu district was well appreciated by the staff and webinar participants.
