Online awareness program on the topic “Understanding weather forecast in Agriculture“ was conducted on 23rd July 2020 at ICAR-KVK Gonikoppal. This program was conducted by Ms. Sahana Hegde SMS (Agrometeorology). Information about major weather parameters for agriculture, types of forecast, crop advisory bulletin, mobile applications by IMD and terminologies used in weather forecast were shared during the program.

Around 40 participants including farmers and government officials attended this awareness program. Many participants actively took part in interaction after the awareness program and appreciated the information provide in the webinar.
