ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Gonikoppal, Kodagu conducted online training programme on important plant Protection measures to be followed in Agri. and Horticultural crops of Kodagu District using the Zoom online platform on 2nd July 2020. Mr.Veerendra Kumar K.V, Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Protection),ICAR-KVK,Kodagu explained in detailed about plant Protection measures to be followed in Paddy, Black Pepper, Arecanut and Ginger with shared power point presentation. Dr.Ranjith, Scientist, Coffee Board, Chettalli also explained in detailed about pest and disease management in Coffee.

Around 48 participants from the Kodagu district and also neighboring districts participated in the online session. At the end of the programme interaction session was conducted by Mr.Veerendra Kumar K.V along with other scientist of Dr. Saju George, Principal Scientist and Head, KVK,Kodagu, Dr. Harish, Assistant Professor, College of Horticulture, Mysuru and Dr.Ranjith, Scientist, Coffee Board, Chettalli. It was a very fruitful session and the participants requested to have similar programmes in the future.
