ICAR-KVK Gonikoppal in association with Puthari FPO organised a training program on the subject "Clonal Propagation in Robusta Plantations" on 4th March 2020. The training session was conducted by Dr. Shivalingu Scientist, Coffee board on the topics of Clonal propagation, nursery making and grafting techniques in Coffee. He spoke extensively on the subject and helped many members understand the critical issues of choosing plants for collecting suckers and seeds for propagation in their own estates.

There was also a presentation by Mr. K.M. Hegde, who is a progressive farmer from the Sirsi region, who spoke about the importance of forming a collective for the purpose of conservation of western Ghats environment and farmers rights. He also gave examples of success stories in their region regarding collectives. Around forty-two farmers attended the programme. The whole programme was coordinated by Shri. B. Prabhakara SMS (Horticulture).
