ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra Gonikoppal, Kodagu conducted Installation cum Demonstration programme of arabica coffee pulping machine under the tribal sub plan on 9th October 2023. Two coffee pulping machines (hand operated and mechanized) were installed at Maldare village and Avaregunda village under SCSP/TSP programme as a part of demonstration cum income generation activity.

In the programme, Mr. Prabhakar, Head Incharge, Dr. Suresh, SMS(livestock) KVK, Mr. Dhanukumar, ODP(NGO) and Mr. Mohan Kumar (machine designer) were present. The installation and usage of arabica coffee pulping machine was demonstrated to the selected SCSP farmer (Mr. Muthappa) and TSP farmer (Mr. Chandru) in Maldare cluster. This machine will improve the processing of coffee and get higher price realisation in the market.
