As a step towards improving the livelihood of Scheduled caste farmers, ICAR-KVK Gonikoppal Kodagu Under the guidance and funding of ATARI Bengaluru established the SC Farmers Implements and Equipments Utility Centre at ICAR-KVK Gonikoppal, Kodagu on 27th March 2023. The custom hiring centre was inaugurated by our beloved Director, ATARI Dr. V. Venkatasubramanian.

In the programme, Sri. K.A. Devaiah, Head In-charge, staff of ICAR-KVK Kodagu and FPO-Common Service Centre (CSC) trainees were present. The custom hiring centre is equipped with famer friendly equipments like brush cutters, pepper climbing ladders, bag pack sprayers, etc. which are very much required by the SC famers community in Kodagu District. These items are now available at ICAR-KVK Kodagu office to the SC farmers on hiring bases free of cost.
