The necrotic spots on newly emerging leaves is due to spindle bug feeding

Solution :

This can be managed by keeping phorate granules in small polythene bags with 4-5 holes and closing the tip. Place 1 or 2 bags in inner most leaf axils. Or spray dimethote 2ml/l Or Apply 25g of solo Boro or borax.This symptoms are quite common in coconut seedlings. Such seedlings recover fast when application of boron to soil is done.
